In 1981 virtually every parts company in America was organized by businessmen along the same lines. If there was a market for Fiat parts or Alfa Romeo parts some businessman would step up to address the demand. Get an inventory, publish a catalog, hire a few salesmen on commission and you were in business. 300,000 Italian Sports Cars were sold in America in five short years from 1978 to 1981. Buying Fiat or Alfa parts was little different from buying Ford or Chevrolet parts. You paid your money and accepted what you received.

A group of dedicated and serious Italian Sports Car enthusiasts decided to create something completely different. They created an employee owned Company made up entirely of Alfa Romeo and Fiat enthusiasts. The Company would operate much like a club. They wanted to use their strength in numbers to gain access to quality parts and accessories, reduce the cost of those parts and have fun with their Fiat-Alfa hobby. They entered their cars in Sports Car Club of America Races, Rallies, and Shows. They developed contacts and sources throughout the world. And because they had such a passion for the automobiles they were eager to share their contacts, knowledge and experience with others. They named their new Company after the groups most successful racer, biggest and most fanatical enthusiast (and the one with the most cash to contribute) Vick Autosports.

Today the employee/owners of Vick Autosports still race, rally, and show their cars. Vick Autosports is home for two defending SCCA Road Race Champions. We still belong to virtually every National and Local Fiat and Alfa Club. We actively participate, as enthusiastic as ever! Chances are all seven of us drove a Fiat or Alfa to work today! Through the years the beneficiaries of our knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm has grown ten- thousand fold. We call them all friends and customers. Would you please join us? If you do, you will be rewarded with a level of service and quality unequaled anywhere in the world, we guarantee it. Click on one or more of the small boxes above and share your Fiat-Alfa enthusiasm with us. In 1981 their wasn't a Company like Vick Autosports, we invented it!
