The master cylinder looks identical to the original from my 1980 Fiat. Great price too!

Q & A

Ask a question
If I have a leak between the master cylinder and the booster, will this fix the leak or do I need a replacement seal of some kind? Travis asked on November 24, 2024

Travis,

This should because a leak there means the master is leaking on the inside.

Can synthetic brake fluid be used with this master cylinder? Dave asked on June 22, 2024

David,

Yes so long as you've removed all the old fluid and it is best to replace ALL the rubber lines as well.
Many synthetics don't always work as intended with old fluids and the residual amount stuck to the hoses can become an issue.

Two questions. First what nipple size does this have? I have a 1977 Spider, and figure if I replace the MC might as well replace the three hoses. Second blots and hose clamps. Does the unit come with new mounting bolts to the booster? If not do you offer those for it as well as the fluid and vacuum line? Peter Mackessy-Lloyd asked on August 29, 2023

Peter,

These come with the nipple size and the hose for this is SKU 05-0055 and the unit does not have clamps (it comes just as photographed).
There are not mounting bolts because those are studs attached to the booster and the booster vacuum hose is SKU 06-3366.
