Introduction to Terms of Service
WHY YOU SHOULD ORDER EARLY — Remember, in many cases our special cars have had various components replaced by non-original. For example, a 1976 Fiat 1800 Sport Spider may have any of the other variations of the DOHC engine- 1438, 1592, 1608, 2000cc- under the hood.
In some cases, the factory used multiple components in one year model. For example, at least three different alternators were used to construct 1979 FIAT X1/9s.
And at times, the factory modified parts. For example, the Milano and GTV6 motor mounts were originally different from one another. Later, Alfa Romeo offered only Milano mounts that could then be modified to be used on GTV6.

CONTINENTAL USA SHIPPING via FedEx
Shipping to rural areas may incur additional shipping cost. Separate shipping will be charged for backordered items.
Saturday deliveries are also available in many areas as part of standard service. In some areas Sat. delivery is extra cost. In some areas Sat. delivery is unavailable.
APO’s and FPO’s are shipped via USPS (the Post Office).
Many body parts, and a few other items, may be too large or heavy for regular FedEx Ground shipping and must be shipped by truck. Shipping company rates vary. Call for additional information.
Vick Autosports may elect to use USPS for delivery.
FedEx will not ship to P.O. Boxes.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS We ask orders going outside the USA have minimum value of $50.00. After the Purchaser has placed an order at vickauto.com and accepted this Terms of Service, Vick Autosports will quote shipping to the Purchaser at the email the Purchaser provides. From the time this email is sent, the Purchaser has 24 hours to decline the shipping quote. Purchaser’s decline must be made by email to firstname.lastname@example.org within that 24-hour period. If the purchaser does not decline the shipping quote, the purchaser accepts the shipping as quoted.
Provide your address exactly as you wish your package labeled. All parts provided by Vick Autosports are intended for cars originally sold in the USA. Orders shipped by USPS are then delivered to you by your county’s postal carrier. Purchaser is solely responsible for all duties, brokerage fees and taxes on goods. Additional terms provided here apply to international orders as well as domestic orders.
Order early enough to have the part shipped to you, inspected for your application and allow time to resolve any questions about the part working for your car.
EMAIL ADDRESS It is important you provide an email address when you place your order. For orders shipped by FedEx, FedEx will email you a tracking number for your goods the evening your goods ship. FedEx will also include the delivery address in that same email. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to check the address. If incorrect, purchaser must contact Vick Autosports immediately so Vick Autosports may initiate an address correction.
It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to arrange to receive delivery of goods.
SHIPPING OPTIONS For Continental US purchasers wanting expedited delivery, FedEx offers faster delivery options. Inquire for rates at the time you place your order.
Note: FedEx air shipments are very expensive. It is best to plan ahead so you can take advantage of Ground rates. Again, order early enough to have the part shipped to you, inspected for your application and time to resolve any question about the part working for your car. If there is an error made by us in a expedited order, the purchaser understands Vick Autosports will not resolve product issues using expedited shipping.
RECEIPT OF GOODS The responsibility of inspecting goods received rests solely on the purchaser. Inspect the goods immediately upon delivery. Should your shipment appear to be damaged or if the box appears to have been opened, check the contents in the presence of the carrier’s agent, if possible. Retain delivery box and packing materials. Claims for damaged goods or goods missing from the order must be made immediately by the purchaser upon receipt of the goods. Failure to make a timely claim or provide shipping box & packing materials may result in the decline of a claim.
STOLEN PACKAGE Vick Autosports is not responsible for items stolen from your delivery address. Purchaser is solely responsible for being available to receive deliveries.
RETURNS FOR DEFECTIVE ITEMS If you receive an item you feel is defective and the part is uninstalled, call for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The return must be initiated within 30 days of your receipt of the product. Return shipping will be at purchaser’s expense. The item must be in good condition. Include a copy of the invoice. Use a new box. Prepay and insure the package. Save the shipping receipt. If the part is found defective, Vick Autosports will determine whether to send a replacement or issue a refund. Individual components of a kit may not be returned. No returns on electrical items, fuel injection parts, books, manuals, tools, shop equipment, racing, Special Order, or used items.
WARRANTIES Most new parts, once installed, are warranted against failure by the manufacturer or Vick Autosports for a period of 60 days, (longer in some cases). Warranty does not cover failure of a product as a result of misuse, incorrect installation, or failure of other related parts, nor would the liability of Vick Autosports exceed the cost of the original component. Parts must be returned to initiate a warranty claim. Return shipping will be at purchaser’s expense.
Some manufacturers may require you to deal directly with them to make a warranty claim. Some manufacturers may require following specific procedures to make a claim such as filling out claim forms and shipping the allegedly defective item, at your expense, to a specific address designated by the manufacturer. The purchaser must comply with these requirements to pursue a warranty claim.
In the case where an allegedly defective item is returned to Vick Autosports and the item is found to be free of defects, the purchaser grants Vick Autosports permission to return the item to the purchaser and authorizes Vick Autosports to charge the purchaser’s credit card to pay for shipping.
ALL OTHER RETURNS Specifying the part that will work on your specific car can be confusing to purchasers. In addition, as the largest importer and distributor of parts for Italian car parts in North America, we have thousands of items on our shelves and with any operation we will occasionally pull a part from the wrong bin or a part number may be incorrectly entered on paper work by Vick Autosports staff or the purchaser.
Regardless of cause, to return a part call for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Return the item in re-sellable condition within 30 days of receipt, along with a copy of your invoice. Return shipping will be at purchaser’s expense. This applies to all orders, including international orders. Vick Autosports will determine whether to send a replacement or issue a refund.
We do not pay the shipping cost to have items returned. We reserve the right to charge a fee for returned items.
No returns on electrical items, fuel injection parts, books, manuals, tools, shop equipment, racing, Special Order, or used items.
REFUSED DELIVERY Any shipment refused by the recipient will not be considered a return and no credit will be issued.
CHARGEBACK Purchaser shall give Vick Autosports up to 90 days to issue a credit for returned merchandise or core from the date Vick Autosports receives the returned merchandise or core before purchaser initiates a credit card chargeback. Purchaser agrees a chargeback made prior to the expiration of the 90 day period to be invalid. Vick Autosports reserves the right to report chargeback abuse to chargeback databases and your credit card company.
PRICING Our prices, including those on our website and printed in our catalog, are subject to change at any time.
Prices for Back Ordered Items are subject to change. Purchasers will be made aware of actual prices when Back Ordered Items are made available. Separate shipping will be charged for backordered items.
PARTS AVAILABILITY In the event the purchaser places on online order or phone order and a requested part is unavailable, it is our policy that Vick Autosports staff notify the purchaser about future availability. It is the purchaser’s sole responsibility to provide a valid email and valid phone number to Vick Autosports. If the purchaser does not respond in a timely manner as determined by Vick Autosports, the purchaser’s order may be voided.
PARTS Items in our catalog may be either Original, Factory Authorized, or Aftermarket as many original parts are no longer available. All parts provided by Vick Autosports are intended for cars originally sold in the USA.
Manufacturing processes have changed for many parts. Some parts may not look, or be made of the same materials as original. If originality is important, please call for a description of the part as currently available.
Pictures of the parts for view at our online store and catalog may not be as available from our inventory. Call if you have questions about how a part looks.
Due to constant changes in inventory, online quantities may vary from available inventory.
LIABILITY Notwithstanding other representations, Vick Autosports liability does not exceed the cost of the item.
JURISDICTION Purchaser agrees the laws of the State of Texas shall govern these Terms of Service and agrees that exclusive jurisdiction for any claim, dispute or cause of action with Vick Autosports, Inc resides in the courts in Tarrant County, Texas. Any claim shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
PURCHASER COMMENTS A purchaser’s request outside of these terms of service, unless expressly agreed to in writing by Vick Autosports, is not a condition of a sale.
