Driveshaft Kit: includes center support, bearing, and retaining clip (assembled), 2 u-joints & flex disc. SKUs 16-4372, 16-9354 & 16-5301.

Flex Disk a.k.a.: Giubo, guibo, driveshaft donut, gaebo

NOTE: Failure to replace a worn or aged flex joint can result in sudden and catastrophic disintegration of the joint. This causes the driveshaft to fall loose, impacting the road surface with absolutely unpredictable results!

I have a customers 1979 spider 2000 Pininfarina with manual trans and factory efi injection and the car has alot of aftermarket rust. I specialize in software/hardware diagnostic and design for automotive/aeronautical applications. I’m often contracted for diagnostic with manufacturers requiring dealer level support solutions. This is a friend’s father’s vehicle that required complete wiring along with complete component replacement and ecu repair. The estimates he received exceeded vehicle resale value. This man is 80 years old and has always been a trusted person who still today helps people in need with plumbing repairs often at no charge. He loves this vehicle. I’ve received no services from this man but I’m thanking him for his life’s good nature and services for those in need. At no charge to him I’ve rebuilt and replaced every electrical component. I guess do to age and bad DIY the vehicle required everything nothing worked,, I mean absolutely nothing. I’m a computer dork. I respect real mechanics and understand how cool they are. So please help will this rubber prop shaft donut fit his car because it’s not listed under the years provided below. If not could you provide us with the correct one. Also we didn’t know that this product existed and we are confused as to why it does? If an upgraded solution exists please advise. We are putting on our big boy pants and going out to buy the real man tools so we can attempt removing broken rubber donut bullshit. Wish us luck because we ain’t this cool. Hello,

Yes this fits your car.
No there isn't an upgrade because in know what would you need one rated for 500hp.
When you get this there is a metal band around it - DO NOT CUT THAT OFF! Leave that on until you have fully installed the flex disc.
Once it is fully bolted in then you can cut off the band.
