Bought the Spare Tire Well for my 1986 Alpha Romeo Spider veloce. Are there installation instructions? In particular, do I need to cut away any of the existing spare wheel well or is it meant to drop into the original space (item has a lip to secure it).

This is like any other body panel. You are to cut and remove the old back and then weld in this new piece.
