Fiat 124/2000 Spider & Coupe – 1966-85

Prima 1 A-Arms

Sold as a complete set of 4 arms

These control arms are very similar to the Fiat originals, with the exception of our specially designed, removable lower shock mount (*see note below on the benefits of this design).

Why hassle with installing the ball joints and bushings yourself? You can get a set of our Prima 1’s and have it all done for you. These widely acclaimed, torture-tested aftermarket A-Arms are as tough as they come. Your wallet and significant other will thank you for saving some money on that project car.

Easy to install with our proprietary removable reinforced lower shock bracket. All parts, bolts, and nuts are included with the set and is fully assembled.

The lower ball joints include a bolt in the bottom for easy addition of lubricant. You can also install a grease-zert for even easier addition of fresh lubricant.

*NOTE: A primary benefit of this removable bracket is the ability to adjust Koni shocks without completely removing them from your car.*

When my A-Arm detached from my cross member I asked the guys at Vicks to keep cost in mind when recommending new A-Arms. They suggested the “Prima 1 A-Arm set. They walked me through the installation process which was very helpful! Now my car handles like new. I’d recommend these to anyone & will be using them in my ’81 Fiat as well.

Q & A

When installing the contrôl arms is there a specific torque setting to tighten the nuts on the upper and lower bushings? Do I just tighten them as much as possible or what? David H asked on November 16, 2024

David,

As much is possible is more or less correct. They are locknuts or lock washers on the bolts so they will stay once tight. Just be sure you don't use a 6 foot cheater bar to tighten them down because remember you can break the bolt with tooooooo much torque.

Thanks

Hello,

Unless you know something we don't then yes.
The control arms are the same on the Sedan, Coupe & Spider.

Do these need to be greased when they arrive or do they come greased? David Cimino asked on February 11, 2024

David,

As a matter of safety we always recommend adding grease to any product that comes with grease fittings.

Thanks
