It sounds like you're most likely have a bad booster either the diaphragm is torn of the one way valve is busted.

Fit well, looks good, fortunately I noticed the little nut to lock the push rod length was loose in the bag. When I put it in place the rod couldn’t be shortened to fit the specs. I had to grind about 3/16ths off the threaded end and clean up the threads to adjust it within spec. It seems to work properly, so all is good.
Had to adjust the acorn nut but it is now working great.
To future buyers. You need always adjust that nut as different brand master cylinder have different depths.
Please never simply install and hope it works as it will not. This is as per the Fiat Factory Shop Manual.
