Exhaust manifold looks to be high quality and bolted right on to my 1974 GTV 2000.

Been using this header on our 73 GTV vintage racer with no issues. High quality welds and perfect fit. Just bought another one for our 86 Spider. Highly recommended.

Q & A

Can you comment on whether they fit RHD cars, specifically a Euro spec 74 GTV 2000? Pedals are floor mounted, but on the right whereas exhaust is on the left. Peter asked on January 11, 2025

Hello,

Wouldn't have a clue, sorry.

what is the approximate hp increase by adding a set of headers to a stock 1972 GTV fitted with the stock 2 liter and Spica fuel injection Carlo Bizzotto asked on December 11, 2023

Hello,

Impossible to give an honest answer. Anyone that gives an answer to this is either making it up entirely or basing it off their personal build which is not your personal build.

Thanks

My limited experience suggests that the only way you could know would be to do a Dynamometer test before and after install. Truth is that most 4 stroke and diesel engine makers have no interest in adding back pressure to their exhaust system with inefficient headers. Their typical focus is to get the maximum H.P. with the least noise that their market prefers. I just bought this header for visual and longevity. If you really want to add a little H.P. , you could research different mufflers and converters, or changing fuel injection. But realize that the greater you increase the factory engine H.P., the greater you increase the engine wear, as well as the entire driveline . From clutch to transmission to u joints to differential to tire wear. Why not buy just a vehicle with a bigger motor?

Victor,

I guess we don't understand your question. All we state is these are "dyno tested to improve performance" and that is because they have been test on dynos. We don't post any HP numbers because every change is different and that is actually because of most of the things you mentioned. So yes these do add power and yes they have literally been tested on many dynos.

Thanks
