Q & A

Ask a question
How do you test if the hazard switch is broken or it is a wiring / relay problem if your hazard lights came on by without any key in the car? When you push the Hazard button does it stay in an on or off position or does it simply push a switch behind the button and come back to a neutral position? Doug W C Smith asked on May 9, 2024

Hello,

When the button is pushed it either stays in or pushed again it will pop out. So yes there is both an in position and and out position.
Broke hazard switches usually prevent the blinkers from working at all OR the button just keeps popping out.

Thanks
