Why keep your old beat-up fan? Are you tired of your fan coming on and your radio suddenly getting quieter? That is because your old fan is drawing too much current from your system. These new fans draw half the current and are double the original CFM. Your car will thank you for the new better fan.
Great replacement for our 1978 Spider. Only complaint (which moved it down to 4) was that the overflow nub was bent and touching the top of the radiator. We had to bend it back up to fit the hose, and it was a nervous moment..did not want it to snap and make this useless.
Radiator received was deeper than the one it replaced. We ended up making modifications to the car to fit it. Probably best to call ahead before ordering this one.
Thank you for the review. If you will not the title line of this product reads “READ DESCRIPTION”. This is because in the description it has the size of the radiator and that is because especially for year 1974 there can be issues. But this has been in the description for years because we know of that issue. Also we really really really try to have our customer read descriptions so these size errors or mix-up don’t happen.
We’re glad you got it to fit but based on your review we would say as for the correct size radiator you really needed the SKU 11-2316. This other radiator also has the size listed in it’s description.
