The starter motor was a perfect fit for my 1978 124; and weighs about half of the original! Looks good too….
I have a higher compression 2.0L that is heavily modified and this starter cranks it over with no problem. I have custom intake for sequential fuel injection so I have to remove the starter from below the car. Best of all its smaller than stock, half the weight, and easier to install. If you need a new starter or just want to upgrade the few extra dollars is well worth it.
