This is the thermostat used on the 2 radiator hose 124 Spiders. If you have 4 radiator hoses please read below.

*Note: All Fiat 124 Spiders with 4 radiator hoses use SKU 11-7381 External Thermostat. This would be 1608cc, 1756cc & 1995cc models, except the very first 1974 year 1756cc cars. WE DO NOT recommend switching over to the internal thermostat on later motors. They do not keep cylinder 4 as cool as the rest of the motor, and can cause failures, especially with larger displacements. The internal thermostat looks slick, but it ain’t worth it!*
