The idle silinode you say goes into side of carb. I don’t see that on my stock ‘78 124 w/ Webber 32. What is that screwed into bottom of intake manifold? And what does it do? And where should those wires go?? Thank you. John williams asked on December 21, 2022

It really does nothing in the US and can be ignored entirely.

The idle solenoid is screwed into the side of the carb.
