You may have an old Bosch Blue Coil and while that might seem good enough, more than likely it is pretty tired and dried out. Coils do get old and they do provide less and less power. If your coil is over 10 years old please replace your coil at the same time as doing the distributor.

Installation instructions:

Red Wire: + on coil

Black Wire: – on coil
