87 Bertone - I got tired of driving in summer with the interior heater on to keep the car from overheating. This radiator and fan set up is a godsend. It’s 88° out today and I left it running in the back parking lot of my condo for 45 minutes to test it and it never got above 190. I drove it around town in traffic and again never above 190.
I bought this radiator, two 10-inch fans and a new radiator thermostat switch. The project took me three hours to do. Attach the fan to the radiator, using Vick mounting, brackets, put the new thermostat In and take the bleeder valve off the top of your old radiator and screw it into this one. You need to go to a local hardware store and buy 8 6/1 metric bolts to bolt the fans to the radiator and 2 8–1.25 metric bolts To attach the radiator to the mounting bracket. You might also want to get an assortment of washers and rubber gaskets in case the ones on your vehicle or too badly damaged to reuse.
