STAINLESS STEEL
Performance Exhaust Header

  • 304 Stainless Steel
  • TIG Welded w/ stainless weld
  • Polished to a near mirror finish
  • Gasket to head included
  • 10mm thick machined flange
  • 1.5mm thick tubing
  • 35mm ID Primary
  • 57.15mm (2.25″) Collector

Bolts to the 4 bolt catalytic converter flange that came stock on 1980-85 fuel injected cars, OR our Performance Stainless 2.25″ Center Exhaust (SKU 27-9371). Dyno-tested, Tony approved!

*NOTE: Fitment on carbureted 1979-80 2000 Spiders requires EITHER: our Performance Stainless 2.25″ Center Exhaust (SKU 27-9371), OR modifications to the stock catalytic converter flange.*

 

Fits:
Fiat Spider 2000 & Pininfarina Azzurra 1979-85

 

Does not fit late 1985 (1/2 year) models with rack and pinion steering.

 

The below images show the current design that you will be receiving (on the right). Note the more gentle bend. This allows for much better flow.

*Note: VAS Headers do NOT cause excessive heat in the engine bay, unlike some competitors. You will NOT burn up any surrounding components due to our headers.*

    Probably the best upgrade you can make. Well made, fits nice, great sound. You MAY want to trim about 1/2″ to an 1″ off the bottom of the header where it slips into the dual pipe collector otherwise it will be lower than the oil pan. Do a trial fit first. And DO make a brace to go from the bracket on the collector to the trans bellhousing bolt above it. It will make sense when you do a trial fit.
