NEW Billet Racing Performance Camshaft

VICK AUTOSPORTS EXCLUSIVE

Racing Performance Cam is a very powerful camshaft. The engine should have other engine modifications, like higher compression and a larger single, or dual carburators.

***Should not be used on injected cars without modifications.***

Lift MM – 10.4

Degrees Overlap – 80

I was recently supplied one of these cams by one of my customers to fit in his car. it dialled in beautifully and all lobes were very accurate with there indexing. it is fitted to an series one X19 with a 1500 with 10.5:1 compression and a single 40mm dcnf and 4/2/1 extractors. great idle quality very broad power range and a pleasure to drive. I highly recommend this cam for an appropriately modified engine.

Q & A

was wondering if this was a regrind, and if so, could you tell me how much I could get away with shaving of the cam box to avoid really thick shims or lash caps? Thanks! Kevin Cozzo asked on April 8, 2024

Kevin,

As the listing clearly states these are NEW cams not regrinds. Yes the lobes are different but they are MADE that way not reground that way.
We 100% are AGAINST ANY SHAVED CAM BOX!!! Do the build right the first time not wrong as you go.
1. Don't over cut your valves (like Fiat did from the factory)
2. There is NOTHING wrong with a lash cap
3. There is NOTHING wrong with a 5.20mm shim, unless you are running a race car.

We repeat for everyone that will ever read this... DO NOT SHAVE YOUR CAM TOWERS!

Thanks
